Upon leaving the temporary detention facility at Mapo Police Station (Seoul), Yoo Ah In was unexpectedly hit with a cup of coffee by a civilian. The actor turned around but was quickly escorted back to his car by security.

During the court hearing regarding his arrest, Yoo Ah In admitted to most of the charges related to drug use.

As a result, the Seoul court dismissed the arrest warrant against Yoo Ah In issued by the police. The court believed that the actor did not pose a flight risk or the risk of destroying evidence, and he also had no prior criminal record.

After the arrest warrant was lifted, Yoo Ah In was escorted back home by the police on the night of May 24. Although not under arrest, the actor still faces accusations of using five different types of drugs: propofol, marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, and zolpidem.
