The one-year-old son of ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ actress and famous player has passed away!
Park Bo Mi announced that her son did not survive the critical condition after nearly 5 days in the hospital due to cardiac arrest. The family is grieving and organizing a funeral for their one-year-old son.
According to Chosun, the management agency of actress Park Bo Mi announced the passing of their one-year-old son after a seizure. The family shared the sad news and held the funeral on the morning of May 22nd.
Park Bo Mi and her husband, athlete Park Yo Han, admitted their son to the hospital on May 16th. The actress shared that their son, Simon, experienced fever and seizures, followed by cardiac arrest. Thanks to the dedicated medical team’s care, the health of the son of the esteemed actor, Sir Sunshine, stabilized temporarily, but he had to remain in the hospital for monitoring.
“The doctors performed CPR on the baby for 40 minutes. Like a miracle, my child regained consciousness. Simon is currently in a deep sleep. I hope my child has the strength to overcome this difficulty. Please pray a lot for my son. Simon has tried his best,” she wrote on her personal page.
Despite the blessings for their son, Simon couldn’t recover after nearly a week of hospital treatment.
In February, Park Bo Mi and athlete Park Yo Han celebrated their son’s birthday. On her social media, the actress wrote, “First birthday of our son. He has grown a lot in the first year. May you be truly happy with your parents.”
After receiving the news of baby Simon’s passing, friends and colleagues expressed their condolences and well wishes. Fans hope that Park Bo Mi will overcome the sorrow of losing her child and continue her artistic activities.
