Seoul Police Arrest Yoo Ah In and Rumored Boyfriend for Evidence Tampering
The police decided to submit an application for the arrest warrant of Yoo Ah In, as he continuously denied the allegations and raised concerns that the actor might destroy crucial evidence in the case.
Prior to this, Yoo Ah In participated in a second round of questioning and confessed to the police that he had used drugs, specifically marijuana, which was given to him by an acquaintance. It is known that, apart from marijuana, Yoo denied using four other types of drugs, including cocaine, propofol, ketamine, and zolpidem (initially admitting to using propofol and zolpidem for medical purposes).

However, the police find themselves in a situation where they need to arrest Yoo in order to determine who supplied him with cocaine, one of the main drugs that resulted in a positive test result in his hair examination conducted by the National Forensic Service.
The police have also planned to request the arrest of Choi, an artist who graduated from an art school in the United States and was summoned for questioning as a close acquaintance of Yoo. Choi was initially a witness but became a suspect during the investigation. Choi admitted to having “a positive drug test result for marijuana but never used any other drugs.”
The police believe that despite their close relationship, their testimonies are unreliable and contradict each other.
Netizens are speculating that Choi is the one who led Yoo Ah In down the path of drug addiction, ultimately causing damage to his career.
Choi Ha Neul, a 30-year-old photographer and artist also known as Haneyl Choi, graduated from Seoul National University and has publicly come out as gay. Choi has exhibited artworks in Seoul, the United States, and Hong Kong, with some pieces being auctioned for up to $17,000 . According to archives from the Daegu Youth Agency, Choi Ha Neul had previously contracted sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), was involved in drug use allegations, and had a promiscuous lifestyle.
Yoo Ah In and Choi Ha Neul are also caught up in rumors of a same-sex relationship, but both of them have remained silent and not confirmed anything.
