BTS’s Jimin cancelled his live appearance on ‘Inkigayo’ due to out-of-track singing controversy.
Insiders have revealed that BTS member Jimin’s scheduled live appearance on the April 2 broadcast of SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ has cancelled.
Originally, Jimin was scheduled to perform live on this week’s broadcast of’Inkigayo’where his comeback title track “Like Crazy” will be competing as a first place nominee, following his live appearances on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown’ and KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’.
However, it has now been decided that only a pre-recorded performance of Jimin’s “Like Crazy” stage will be aired on the April 2 broadcast of ‘Inkigayo’. The artist will not be in attendance during the live broadcast.
Earlier this week, after the March 30 broadcast of ‘M! Countdown’, Jimin took home his first #1 trophy on a music program with “Like Crazy”. However, then, some netizens struck up a heated debate by Jimin of singing “off key” during his encore stage. As a result of the debates, Mnet has since deleted Jimin’s encore stage video from YouTube.
On the March 31 broadcast of KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’, where Jimin was also announced as this week’s winner, the BTS member delivered a more comfortable stage accompanied by a surprise guest, j-hope, visiting to cheer his group mate on.
