The Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) requested the police to investigate Yoo Ah In from November 2022 after the agency discovered that the actor regularly received prescriptions for propofol at various hospitals from early 2021.
Yoo Ah In was sampled by the police on February 5, right after the actor landed at Incheon airport. On March 1, the National Forensic Service found that the “image” was positive for up to four banned substances, including propofol, marijuana, ketamine and cocaine.
The police also announced that Yoo Ah In will be summoned for investigation next Tuesday (March 14). The actor’s management company has confirmed this. Previously, the investigating agency confiscated 2 phones of actor Veteran. And the police said they have analyzed more than 460,000 messages to clarify how Yoo Ah In bought and used banned substances.
