Director Lee Eung Bok withdrew from Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee’s K-drama?
Director Lee Eung Bok will step down from the upcoming series “The Price of Confession”, which feature Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee
According to YTN Star coverage published on January 3rd, director Lee Eung Bok, who was supposed to direct the upcoming Studio Dragon series “The Price of Confession” (working title), has withdrawn from production. In particular, since the filming of Netflix’s “Sweet Home” season 2 and 3 is taking longer than originally planned, the director cannot coordinate his schedules.
On the other hand, “The Price of Confession” is a bloody story of 2 women, who got involved in a murder case. The drama is expected to be director Lee Eung Bok and actress Song Hye Kyo’s first reunion after the megahit K-drama “Descendants of the Sun”, but this collaboration has unfortunately fallen through.
At the same time, the production team of “The Price of Confession” claimed that nothing has been confirmed. In particular, Studio Dragon said that while it is true that Lee Eung Bok is a candidate for the director role of “The Price of Confession”, no official confirmation was made. “As there is still time left until filming, we will inform you as soon as the final director is confirmed”, they also added.
Meanwhile, top actresses Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee were cast as leading roles in “The Price of Confession”. So far, the broadcasting channel and airing date of the work remains undecided.
