On November 8, Netflix’s uber hit series “Squid Game” held a special occasion in Los Angeles.

In a meeting with the Associated Press, Hwang Dong Hyuk, the chief and essayist of “Squid Game,” affirmed that there would be a second period of the series.
“There’s been a lot of demand and pressure and love for a second season,” he said. “It almost feels like we don’t have a choice. The next season is in my head right now. At this moment, I’m in the planning stages. It’s too early to say when and how it will come out though. But I can promise this. The main character, Gi Hun, will be back and do something for the world.” (The main character, Seong Gi Hun, is played by Lee Jung Jae.)
Albeit the creation staff recently indicated the chance of a subsequent season, this is whenever that the chief first has unequivocally expressed that he is arranging a subsequent season.
