1. Kim Ji Soo
Actor Kim Ji Soo is known to the audience through the films Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Angry Mom, Moon lover, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo 2016… Ji Soo won the hearts of the audience with his acting natural and handsome appearance.
However, when his career was in a stable development stage, in March 2021, a former classmate accused Kim Ji Soo of having committed serious school violence. Under the influence of the scandal, the actor was forced to withdraw from the filming of the movie River Where The Moon Rises. After Ji Soo was replaced, the film’s producer sued the actor’s management company, asking them to pay 3 billion won (about 2.6 million USD) in compensation.
2. Kim Jung Hyun
After rising to fame through the hit series Crash Landing On You and Mr. Queen, Kim Jung Hyun was suddenly accused of being rude to female singer Seo Hyun (SNSD) – his co-star in the movie Time. Specifically, the Korean audience pointed out that during the press conference for the film’s launch, Kim Jung Hyun deliberately avoided and acted cold towards Seo Hyun, putting the female singer in a dilemma.
Later, Korean media reported that during the filming for Time, the actor repeatedly asked the scriptwriter to change the script, cutting out the most romantic scene with Seo Hyun. In addition, when the film was about to close, Jung Hyun suddenly announced his withdrawal from the cast, causing difficulties for the film crew. According to Dispatch, actress Seo Ye Ji – the actor’s ex-girlfriend – psychologically manipulated Kim Jung Hyun, preventing him from acting romantically with his co-star.
3. Seo Ye Ji
Impressing the audience through the movie “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”, Seo Ye Ji is loved by the audience for her pretty appearance and good acting ability. However, she also had the biggest scandal in her career. This character opened up many opportunities for Kim Seon Ho, helping him to appear in the famous movie Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
However, as soon as Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha ended, the 35-year-old star faced charges of cheating on her ex-girlfriend, forcing her to have an abortion. The controversy surrounding Kim Seon Ho became so serious that his two co-stars in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Lee Sang Yi and Shin Min Ah, were forced to cancel all schedules related to the drama.
