Jang Won Young tests positive for COVID-19!!
The management company announced that Jang Won Young and Ahn Yu Jin are taking necessary measures according to the instructions of the quarantine agency.
On August 29, Starship Entertainment – the management company of Jang Won Young and Ahn Yu Jin – announced that Jang Won Young was positive for Covid-19 because an employee was infected on the schedule.
The full statement is as follows:
“Hello.
We are Starship Entertainment.
On August 28, our agency’s artists An Yu Jin and Jang Won Young received a notice that their schedules have overlapped with an external staff that has been tested positive for COVID-19.
We received news on August 29 afternoon that An Yu Jin’s test results came back negative, while Jang Won Young received a positive test result.
Currently, Jang Won Young is taking necessary measures according to the quarantine authorities’ guidelines. An Yu Jin was tested negative but will be suspending her schedules till further notice to take preemptive measures and begin self-quarantine.
We ask for your understanding, and we will continue to follow the quarantine authorities’ guidelines strictly in order to do our best to ensure the health and safety of our artists and staff.”
