Handsome director Lee Chung Hyun praised Park Shin Hye, ‘I’ve never seen Park Shin-hye swear in my life.’

Director Lee Chung-hyun said, “When I first tried to make a movie, I didn’t think it would be released on Netflix. I couldn’t wait longer after watching the theater situation, so I released it through Netflix.”
“I am regretful that I have been working hard on the sound and other parts for the theater, but after the release of’Call’, there are reactions and contacts from abroad. It is a good opportunity from the point of being able to meet many audiences. I think it worked positively for the work called’Cole’,” he added.
He emphasized, “Even if you watch a movie on a mobile phone or tablet PC, the difference between wearing and without earphones seems to be big. I think it would be more fun if you wear earphones tightly.”
In addition, director Lee Chung-hyun said, “The various reviews are memorable, but one of the most memorable is’I’ve never seen Park Shin-hye swear in my life.’ And Park Shin-hye also tried to go forward with it, so I think showing such a figure is meaningful and rewarding. I think that Park Shin-hye has gone one step further as an actor.”
Lee Chung Hyun was born in 1990, the same age as the female lead Park Shin Hye. Although he is a young director, Lee Chung Hyun has given him two movies, Bargain (2015) and Call (2020).
It is worth mentioning that Lee Chung Hyun’s debut film, Bargain, was nominated in the Short Film category at the prestigious annual Green Dragon Film Awards and appeared at a number of popular film festivals in Korea.
Lee Chung Hyun graduated from the Department of Theater and Cinema at Kaywon Arts High School and is currently studying at the Media Department of Hankuk University of Foreign Languages.
The Call is currently running on Netflix on November 27.
