According to an exclusive report from Herald Pop on the afternoon of July 22, FNC Entertainment has officially denied the malicious rumors about AOA’s Seolhyun, as well as the planning of legal cases to sue the anti -fan.
Recently, a rumor about the 25-year-old beauty’s condemnation has started to spread in the online community. It is known that the source has been from many years ago and stated that a member of the Korean girl group was caught smoking at a hotel in Thailand. It was this action that caused the fire alarm to sound, everyone in the hotel panicked and was forced to quickly evacuate the building.
The news was also condemned through a talk show called Eve’s Brave Journalists in 2016. In which, the reporter talked about the fire alarm and described that girl group member was a People with many male fans, slim body and pure image. Besides, they also said that “the culprit” is a person who often swears, smokes in life behind the lens.
Some people start baselessly speculating that the girl group member in question is AOA’s Seolhyun. This has made FNC Entertainment deny the rumors on July 22.

We are gathering data regarding the groundless rumors and the spread of false facts online in order to take legal action. It is very disappointing that this is being reported on as if raised true, and we will take strong legal action without any leniency as [Seolhyun’s] has been severely defamed due to this. We will actively take legal measures regarding any other defamatory acts that occur online regarding our artists. ”
